Planning

How far ahead should I plan?

For summer, four to eight months ahead secures the best stays. Winter journeys can often be arranged in six to ten weeks.

Can I change a journey you've shown?

Always. Every journey on the site is a starting point. We adjust the length, pace, stays and activities to suit you.

Do you arrange flights?

We do not book international flights, but we plan around your arrival and departure times.

What deposit is required?

Deposit and payment terms will be confirmed in your written proposal before you commit to anything.

What is the cancellation policy?

Cancellation terms will be published once approved and are always included in your proposal.

On the trip

Is someone available while I travel?

Yes. You have a direct line to your specialist and an emergency number throughout the journey.

What happens if the weather changes plans?

We monitor conditions daily and reroute when needed, so a closed road becomes a different good day.

Is self-driving in Iceland difficult?

Summer roads are straightforward for confident drivers. Winter driving needs care; we recommend guided options for first visits.
